As can be expected, Bruiser is showing his age but, not much!
He can still outrun any of the other 6 dogs in residence here
in New Mexico, at my "home For Wayward Dawgs High in
the Manzano mountains of New Mexico!
As I told you, in my last epistle, Bruiser found his way here
after nearly losing his battle to find a furever home in California.
The hero of that adventure is Barb Henderson who drove him
all the way, in her car to Flagstaff AZ, so that he would
be safe for as long as it took to find him a furever home.
He has had no medical problems except falling down the steps
on his nose a while back but, he learned from that.
His first experience with snow was a hoot! Snow covered toys
are COLD! He was not impressed and a bit confused? He adapted
and we still play fetch every day when I check the electric
fences. He may always be a puppy, I hope so anyway!
Here is Bru (on the right) and Red (on the left) helping Little
Sammy (barely visible in the center) dig out a ground squirrel.
Some how the little guy "talks" the Chessies into
doing the digging while he ambushes the critters when they
make their break? And it works!
Anyway that is the news on Brusier and hope this all you guys
doing well. Take care and will be in touch.
